Rachel and Chris

A beautiful spring wedding at a gorgeous Kansas City farm!

I've know Rachel since our high school music days. When I met her fiance Chris I immediately felt so much joy. Their energy together solidified what I had been told - they are a great match! Nothing makes my heart happier than people in love that have found one another! You can see Rachel and Chris' genuine joy in the photos.

Rachel and Chris are both musicians who have played a LOT of weddings. They knew they wanted a fun, relaxed, low-key, yet very beautiful wedding day. Their early May wedding featured fun hues in peacock blue, royal blue, and a regal green.

Rachel wanted a garden-inspired, whimsical bouquet with pops of color. In addition to roses, we added magical bits like blue Nigella and Bachelor Button, Delphinium, and Veronica. Yes, the bouquet has white, but we made it POP with added color and texture!

We created foam free arbor floral pieces that we attached with zip ties, but could be used on tables later.  The tables were a mix of bud vases with our mix and match gold votive collection and pots with Rachel's favorite early spring container plant, Lobelia.

If you've never been to the Tobacco Barn Farm, you must go. The barn and property is just stunning. If you are me and love vintage, farmhouse, yet with an elegant Martha Stewart twist, this Kansas City wedding venue is for you. I loved their gardens, attention to detail, and super kind staff.
