Locally Grown
In the 1980s, the floral industry began to change. Once a haven for personalized, handcrafted designs, flower shops started to standardize their offerings to survive. With U.S. policies encouraging South American countries to shift from opium to flower production, American flower farms began to decline. Today, only 22% of flowers sold in the U.S. are domestically grown, but we are committed to supporting local farmers and sourcing the highest quality blooms from trusted suppliers when necessary.
We Design With Seasonality in mind
At Bel Fiore Flowers, we design with seasonality in mind. You won’t find out-of-season flowers, like sunflowers in January, flown in from distant countries. Instead, we embrace nature’s natural cycles, showcasing flowers like dahlias, zinnias, celosia, and even unique options like ornamental purple basil, native grasses, and sunset amaranth.
We believe that floral design is an art form, and we never aim to simply replicate a photo. Each arrangement is one of a kind, allowing the flowers to guide our creativity and reflect the special meaning behind every order.
