Secret Garden Party

This photoshoot was a dream. Garden party florals + amazing couple + perfect intimate venue and my favorite photographer.

We created a lush, secret garden ceremony in the back courtyard of the Firehouse KC wedding venue complete with a full arbor, baskets full of blooms, and spring flowers galore. I sourced a vintage arbor from an antique shop in Greenwood and with the help of my friend Gale, we transformed the old iron structure into a work of art. Garden meadows with green moss and pastel spring blooms sat at the base. What I love about these garden meadows (that we build foam free by the way) is that they can be moved to the reception and placed in front of a sweetheart or head table.  Versatile florals for your wedding are something we specialize in!

Miranda from Thirty One Events and Angela and Molly from Firehouse KC were so wonderful to work with. And of course Beth of Melissa and Beth Photography. Beth was Carl and I's wedding photographer. I still look at our wedding photos and love them just as much as when we first saw them. Beth is truly one of the best Kansas City wedding photographers for a reason! Her clean, crisp, true color photos perfectly captured the day and are timeless.
