Join us for an evening of magic on the farm. We are collaborating with our longtime friend and flower farmer Ariel of Nurturing with Nature for an evening of flowers, designing and fellowship at her private farm.
Our evening will begin with the best charcuterie board and vino followed by a walk through the field and a talk with Ariel about her growing operation which focuses on floral production for florists, designers and culinary flowers. We will then cut a few stems to bring back with us to our design area where floral designer Angela Turner will lead the group through the creation of a centerpiece using all locally grown blooms.
Every participant will have a beautiful curated collection of flowers to create their own arrangement and a beautiful vase for their arrangement. Snips and supplies will be provided.

Location: Ariel's Private farm in Lee's Summit. Address will be supplied closer to the event date.
About Ariel and Angela
Flower farming is a special skill and one that calls special people. In May of 2020 in the height of the pandemic, Angela was in the midst of getting flowers to people and trying to expand their farm footprint. Ariel came around that time to learn and help with Bel Fiore's then growing operation at Unity Village. After 2 years Ariel left Bel Fiore to start her own farm and floral company called Nurturing with Nature. Today she is recognized as the foremost expert and grower of culinary flowers in the bi-state region.
Angela is the owner and creative mind behind Bel Fiore Co. Angela began her flowering journey first as a farmer florist. Eight years later Bel Fiore Co. has grown to become a flower shop and floral design studio focused on locally grown blooms. Its flagship location in Downtown Lee's Summit is centered around its flower bar, the first of its kind in the Midwest. Angela is a sought after speaker and floral educator sharing her love and knowledge of flower growing and organic colorful approach to creating garden-inspired designs. In 2024 Bel Fiore Co. was recognized as the top florist by Kansas City Engaged Magazine. Angela's work has been featured in both print and TV.
Angela is excited to partner with her best flower friend Ariel to bring you this special evening on the farm.
Fine Print:
21 and older please.
No prior experience is necessary.
Good shoes are highly recommended.
You will be given the address and parking instructions closer to the time of the workshop.
Should we experience bad weather, our back up date will be September 25, 2025. There is no refund if you are unable to make the rain date
Your ticket is non-refundable but it IS transferable. Please contact us at orders@belfiorefarm.com to coordinate a workshop ticket transfer.
Please note - there is NO physical ticket. We will check you in upon arrival. You must purchase a ticket for each person attending.
Do you deliver? If so, how much does it cost?
Absolutely! We offer delivery within 20 miles of our shop in Downtown Lee's Summit. Delivery is currently a flat fee of $12.
Do you have a flower delivery minimum?
Yes, our flower minimum for delivery is $45.
What days can you order flowers for pick-up or delivery?
In-store pick-up is always free! Pick-up is available during our normal business hours Tuesday-Saturday 10:00AM - 5:00PM (Thursdays 10-6). Please contact us directly for Monday orders.
What time will my flowers be delivered?
Bel Fiore Co. delivers between 12:00PM and 5:00PM. Delivery times are based on our delivery routes and the distance from our shop. During busy times, we may be out delivering flowers until 6:30 PM. We can not guarantee a specific time for standard deliveries. If you'd like to request priority delivery for an additional fee, please email info@belfiorefarm.com with your order number and the details of when you'd like your delivery scheduled.
Do you offer same day deliveries?
Our store has a same day cut-off for same day delivery of 12 PM. If you need assistance, please give us a call at 816-200-0295
Do you ship flowers?
No, we do not ship flowers at this time.
What else do I need to know?
Glad you asked!
- We reserve the right to make substitutions should a flower be unavailable due to unplanned Mother Nature issues, quality or availability issues.
- Please do your best to confirm that your flower recipient will be at the delivery location, or that there is a safe (secure space, protected from weather) to leave the flowers. In the event that we cannot leave the flowers, we will bring them back to the shop so your recipient can pick them up.
- We do not make second delivery attempts, so please ensure your recipient will be at the delivery location on your selected delivery day!
- If we are delivering to a hospital - For employees, please provide their department information and position. For patients, please ensure that the recipient will be there and IS able to accept flowers. If a patient is in the ICU, they may not be able to accept flowers.
- We do NOT allow people to send flowers anonymously.
- There are no returns for customers when recipients refuse or are unable to receive a delivery.
- All Sales are FINAL. No returns, exchanges or refunds. If you have any issues with your flower order, we do we require a 48 hour notice. After 48 hours, we are unable to be offer assistance.
